Williams: Nathaniel? What brings you to St.Louis? I was just finishing up a class.
Looking about the large facility, Davis produces a handkerchief from the inside of his blazer pocket and wipes the beads of sweat from the his bald head.
Davis: A flight layover for about two hours. On my way back home to Colorado for a couple of days.
Williams: What’s on your mind Nathaniel? You looking for more talent?
Davis: Not directly. I’ve been thinkin’ about the fundraiser show coming up for Atlanta Children’s Healthcare and who we can book to maximize attendance.
Williams: Well to be honest Nathaniel nobody here has any name notoriety. Jennifer is excited about getting a chance to shine but she also has zero experience in front of any type of crowd over about twenty.
Davis: Yes her name carries no weight at all back in Atlanta. And to put her in the ring against a ring veteran such as Sean Locke wouldn’t be quite fair to her at this point in her wrestlin’ journey.
Williams: Locke is in the main event? Yeah, no one here stands a chance.
Davis: Yeah, I must have forgotten to tell you about Locke. I got him locked into the show a few days ago. Now just a matter of his opponent. I was thinkin’ John Champa but came to find out he was seriously hurt while wrestlin’ for Lady Munin’s company in Louisiana.
Williams: Wow that’s not good. I heard about that. Uhhh, what about Alex? Last I heard he wasn’t under contract with anyone.
Davis: I hadn’t given much thought to Alex since his last stint with GZW2K1 had him assault Devotion. He may still have some bitterness with anythin’ associated with GZW2K1.
Williams: Good point. What about Amanda? I know she’s not World Title caliber yet but some people know her.
Davis: That might not be a bad idea though we’d have to deal with Joshua Samson since I hear he’s her “executive representative” these days.
Williams: I don’t know about you but that's the last person I feel like dealing with at this point and time.
The once Entertainment Franchise chuckles at the thought.
Davis: There is another option, Nathan…
Williams: And what’s that?
Davis: You do it…
Williams: Me? Nate I haven’t actually been in a ring since Alex tried to break my arm and that was for a one off spot. As for a match I haven’t wrestled since that match with Jimmy several years ago that was ugly.
Davis: Really, Nathan? Look at you...you’re more than in great shape. You’re here trainin’ so that means your mind is still sharp. Also if it helps Locke hasn’t been in a ring since January at Aftermath2K15 so that means he’ll be just as rusty as you are.
Williams: I’m not saying no Nathaniel. I’d never say no to GZW or a group of kids.
Davis: Then you’ll do it?
Williams: I guess so Nathaniel. You’ve twisted my arm.
Davis: I’m glad you said yes because my only other option was convincin’ Jon to do it and you know there is no love lost between him and Locke.
Williams: Very true. Not sure that would be the time or place to exercise that anger.
Davis: Exactly. I’m glad that is out of the way now. Our main event is officially booked.
Williams: Guess so. Are you still needing Jennifer for a match?
Davis: Without a doubt. Even though it’s a fundraiser show it’s still a wrestlin’ show and who puts on better shows than us?!
Williams: Good because I don’t have the heart to tell her otherwise. She’s too excited.
Davis: So you goin’ to show me around? I have about a hour and a half to kill before I have to get back to the airport.
Williams: Yeah sure, just follow me.
The two men turn and walk off as Nathan shows him around the building.
