Reporters are assembled outside the Convex Okayama, where a stage and a set of scales have been set up. They are all seated in folding chairs as the moderator appears on stage.
Moderator: Now Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a special treat for you. I'm proud to introduce our main event panel. First, from Croydon, United Kingdom, please welcome Jon Kellar!!
Kellar enters to polite applause, wearing only his vale-tudo shorts. Sean and the rest of Klub Dynamite follow as Kellar approaches the scales. He shakes his shoulders and stretches.
Moderator: And now, from Cologne, Germany, Konrad Raab.
More polite applause as Konrad comes to wearing a mask with some wrestling trousers and stands near the scales along side Jon Kellar as Konrad shakes his body out.
Moderator: Thank you. Jon Kellar will go first.
Kellar nods and steps forward onto the scales. He stands perfectly still, focussing forward.
Moderator: The official weight is in. Jon Kellar weighs in at 209lbs!
Kellar smiles as the cameras flash and he gives way to his opponent.
Moderator: And now Konrad Raab.
Konrad stands on the scales with the cameras flashing at him.
Moderator: Konrad Raab weighs in at 230lbs.
The weigh in complete, both men approach the centre for the traditional face off. Kellar and Raab stare into each other's eyes, neither blinking as the bulbs flash and the assembled guests applaud.
The bulbs stop flashing and Raab and Kellar head up towards the conference table. Kellar accepts a t-shirt and shorts from Sean en route and changes as he makes his way to the chair.
Moderator: Okay, questions from the floor… yes…
Reporter 1: Jon, you’re giving up 21 lbs in this match. How does that make you feel?
Kellar looks across at Konrad.
Kellar: He’s hardly the biggest I’ve ever faced.
Sean: What Jon means is that he’s faced opponents with a size advantage in the past and come out on top. We’ve factored that into our training routine and we have every faith that Jonny boy can overcome it.
Kellar: Let’s just say I’m well aware that Raab has the size and power advantage here, but I’m not going to fight this bout on his terms.
Reporter 1: So you’ll be looking to use your submission talents?
Kellar: That would be telling...
Konrad took his mask off as he had to in press conferences as he drinks a bit of water.
Reporter 2: What do you think of the comments so far from Jon, Konrad?
Raab: It’s interesting because I know for a fact his speed is going to be Jon’s biggest strength. I’m not denying that, but at the same time, I expect a good fight out of the pair of us and I expect a fair fight too.
Reporter 3: Jon, will this be a fair fight?
Kellar: We’re both students of the game, with the utmost respect for the sport. Don't expect to see chairs, tables and barbed wire in this one. That said, if I see an advantage, any advantage, be sure I'm going to take it. I'm not going to be the one staring up at the lights for the sake of being Mr Good Guy.
Raab: Well you might not want to be wrestling a good guy role, but I will because I’m a wrestler who will not cheat or break the rules to win matches. It’s never been me to do so. It all comes to who has the biggest heart to win and I learned my mistakes last time I had a title match and I’m sure as hell not going to repeat them again.
Kellar: So gratifying to know that my opponent insists on limiting himself before we even start. There was I thinking he'd have the same attitude as me… all in, nothing left behind. I guess I’ll have to wait for my first challenger after I become Champion.
Raab: We’ll see about that, won’t we? Because I will be coming to win that belt and put everything on the line, but not to win unfairly, I always wrestle and win my matches clean, not use upper hand advantages.
Kellar: And I win by, well, winning. Don’t get me wrong Konrad, I’ve got plenty of respect for you and the business you do in that ring… but the fact is, you’re in my way. You are standing between me and redemption and not a single iota of me is focussed being the good guy. I am going to walk away as champion, whatever it takes.
Raab: I’ve wanted to win a title since I got to Japan with the hard work I’ve been doing and as I’ve said before and I’ll say it again, I will go out there to give you a fight you want and I’ll walk away as champion again. I need to prove people wrong that I belong here as a Pride of Puroresu title contender and I need to win this match and it’s just a shame that only one of us is going to win and that’s me.
