"……………………….."
Pacing to and fro in front of his desk within his office is Ring of Honor Icon Nathaniel Davis. The one-third owner of Underground Zero has a cordless phone to his ear listening intently to the other person on the line.
"I have no idea what is goin' on with Jon honestly. He hasn't been in contact with me since the charity event show. I was really dependin' on him to use his overseas contacts to secure us the foreign talent."
"…………………………………………………………………………………………………."
"There has been no word about the Sons of Gold either. Without Jon around there is no contact with them whatsoever. The good thing about that though is Sons of Gold were never contracted."
"…………………………………………………………………………………"
"Well I did hear from Nathan a couple weeks ago. He was recoverin' from some pains that resurfaced durin' his match against Locke. I was really hopin' that we could have pushed for a three way match at the next supercard with Locke, Champa, and Nathan."
"………………………………………………………………………………………………"
"We just can't afford Locke's askin' price. Besides I just don't think Locke's heart is in competin' anymore anyway. It took all my skills to get him back into the ring for the charity show."
"……………………………………………………….."
"Oh I completely agree with you on that. If it's a wrestler's time to call it quits then they should definitely do so and not be forced back in. It's very few of us that went out when we wanted to."
"……………………………………………………………………………………………………….."
"Alright I'll talk to you later."
Davis returns the phone back to its dock as he takes a seat behind his desk. Stroking his goatee, Davis slowly rocks back and forth in his chair.
"Hmmm…I wonder?"
He retrieves the phone and quickly dials a number before putting it to his ear.
"Hey, this is Nathaniel. I was wonderin' if you could get me Lady Munin's number?"
